# Aurora BIM > Aurora BIM provides BIM services to architecture and structural engineering firms: BIM management, Revit support, standards, drawing production and automation. A firm gets on-call access to BIM managers and Revit specialists without making a full-time hire. Aurora BIM is run by Megan Hanson (Founder and Managing Partner, structural BIM) and Elizabeth Rickardsson (Managing Partner, architectural BIM). Megan and Liz match each project with the specialist on the team whose experience fits the work. An engagement can be ongoing BIM management or extra drafting support on a single project. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.aurorabim.com/): What Aurora BIM does and who it works with. - [Services](https://www.aurorabim.com/services): Every service for architecture firms and for structural engineering firms, with what the firm receives from each. - [Team](https://www.aurorabim.com/team): The people who do the work, with their backgrounds and specialties. - [Resources and Events](https://www.aurorabim.com/resources): Videos featuring Aurora BIM, and upcoming events. - [Contact](https://www.aurorabim.com/contact): Send a message about a project. ## Services Most services are offered to both architecture firms and structural engineering firms. Each line says what Aurora BIM does and what the firm receives. - On-call BIM support: We hold regular meetings and Q&A sessions, troubleshoot urgent BIM issues as they come up, and support your staff day to day. You receive a standing point of contact for BIM questions, and a team that stays informed and aligned. - Software and licensing setup: We set up and manage Autodesk Forma, formerly BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud, so everyone collaborates in the same place across offices. You receive a working Autodesk Forma environment, set up and managed for you. - IT infrastructure for BIM: We work with your IT provider to assess your infrastructure and make the changes BIM workflows need. You receive an IT setup that supports how your team actually runs Revit, agreed with the people who maintain it. - Revit template optimization: We tailor your templates to your project requirements, so workflows stay consistent and everyone applies the standards the same way. You receive templates matched to your projects, and one standard your team works to. - BIM library development: We build and maintain Revit libraries with the custom families and components your projects call for. You receive a documented family library your team can reuse and keep current. - CAD to BIM transition support: We step in at any stage of the move, resolving visibility issues and tightening standards as we go. You receive a working BIM environment with your standards carried across, and a team producing drawings in it. - Revit model reviews and issue resolution: We review models against performance and best practice, then diagnose and resolve what we find. You receive a reviewed model, the issues resolved, and a clear account of what caused them. - Automations and integrations: We build automations in Dynamo and other Revit apps, and connect Revit to the other software your project data moves through. You receive a working automation or integration, scoped to the bottleneck you flagged. - File sharing and trade coordination: We set up file sharing with Autodesk Bridging so you keep ownership of your data, and coordinate with other trades through shared coordinates and agreed protocols. You receive a documented sharing and coordination setup your team can run without us in the room. - Architectural drawing production (architecture firms only): We build precise BIM models and produce the plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views that come out of them, working inside your existing workflow. You receive coordinated architectural drawing sets that hold design intent from stage to stage. - Structural drawing production (structural engineering firms only): We detail in Revit for wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and more, on projects from custom homes to large buildings and art installations, working with your engineers to establish load paths. You receive precise, easy-to-read structural drawings ready for construction. ## Team - Elizabeth Rickardsson, Managing Partner, AEC BIM & Technology Consultant.
