Megan Hanson
Founder & Managing Partner
AEC BIM & Technology Consultant
Megan, an experienced BIM Manager and Structural BIM Expert, holds a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and brings over 15 years of experience in the AEC industry.
Based in San Luis Obispo, California, Megan founded Aurora BIM to empower architects and engineers to succeed with Revit and BIM. She specializes in streamlining collaboration and optimizing Revit for drawing production, with expertise in Autodesk Construction Cloud, troubleshooting, and detailing complex structural systems. Megan has detailed structural solutions for a wide variety of materials and project types, including art installations, high-end residential, multifamily residences, ADUs, retrofits, tenant improvements (TIs), and curved light-gauge framing systems used in airports and museums. Megan is also passionate about education teaching a Structural Drawing class for the ARCE department at Cal Poly SLO. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her puppy Rio, practicing yoga, and soaking up the California sunshine.

Elizabeth Mae Rickardsson
Managing Partner

Elizabeth, an experienced BIM Manager and Architectural BIM Expert, holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University and brings over 20 years of experience in the AEC industry.
Her career spans Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and California, where she has contributed to diverse projects such as housing, hospitals, infrastructure, and educational facilities. Elizabeth is known for her ability to troubleshoot and navigate complex BIM issues, her enthusiasm for all things BIM, and her dedication to staying ahead of the curve with the latest industry advancements. Now based in Kailua, Hawaii, Elizabeth co-founded Aurora BIM in 2025 to collaborate with architects, focusing on optimizing workflows and solving complex BIM challenges. A firm believer that BIM is a team sport, Elizabeth thrives on collaboration with clients and colleagues. In her free time, she enjoys beach days, traveling, and exploring new restaurants with her family.

Hayden specializes in complex modeling in Revit and advanced BIM technologies like Dynamo, focusing on solving intricate challenges and enhancing project efficiency. He has contributed to a variety of projects, always aiming to optimize workflows and improve collaboration through innovative design and precise modeling. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of BIM, Hayden is dedicated to exploring new techniques and tools to advance the field. Based in San Francisco, Hayden enjoys going to Giants games and staying engaged with the latest trends in technology and engineering.

Anthony Di Pasupil
AEC BIM & Technology Technician
Anthony, an AEC BIM and Technology Technician, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. A licensed Professional Engineer with extensive experience in the AEC industry, Anthony brings a strong foundation in structural design and analysis to his work in BIM.

Before joining Aurora BIM, Anthony worked on a variety of commercial and residential buildings, seismic retrofits, URM analyses, and DSA projects. His experience supporting both architects and engineers gives him a well-rounded understanding of project coordination from design through construction. Having transitioned from traditional structural design to BIM, Anthony is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance collaboration, streamline modeling, and bring complex structures to life in 3D. Based in Southern California, Anthony enjoys surfing, traveling, and discovering the best local ice cream spots. A lifelong fan of video games and anime, he appreciates creativity and story telling across all forms of design, and values spending quality time with family and friends.

Cassidy Do
Junior BIM Technician
Cassidy, an emerging structural engineer, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and brings hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and detailing across a variety of project types.
Cassidy has contributed to engineering projects involving reinforced concrete, structural steel, and wood framing systems, with work spanning rebar detailing, steel connection design, seismic and gravitational loading analysis, and advanced structural modeling in ETABS and Revit. Her collaborative approach and technical precision have supported projects from treehouse play structures to large-scale commercial buildings. Cassidy is passionate about integrating innovative materials, sustainable building strategies, and adaptive technologies into structural engineering practice, with a particular interest in green building and dynamic design solutions. Based in Los Angeles, she enjoys reading, video games, and spending time with friends and family.

Michael Mah
BIM Technician
Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego with almost a decade of professional structural engineering experience.
Having nine years of structural engineering experience with residential, commercial, and existing structures, Michael brings a deep understanding of how buildings behave, how disciplines coordinate, and what information truly matters - skills that translate directly into effective BIM use. His field-tested insight into constructability, seismic performance, and interdisciplinary workflows helps ensure that the BIM process enhances project clarity, reduces conflicts, and supports high-quality, efficient design delivery. Based in Southern California, Michael enjoys traveling and a variety of sports like basketball, pickleball, and snowboarding.

Kory has a Master's of Architecture from Oxford Brookes University and over 20 Years of industry experience
Kory Cox is a licensed and highly experienced residential Architect based in Salt Lake City, Utah with over two decades of architectural practice crafting luxury custom homes throughout Northern Utah. Drawing on his Master’s in Architecture from Oxford Brookes University in England, Kory combines international training with deep local knowledge to design homes that are both elegant and deeply responsive to the region's unique landscapes and lifestyles. Known for designing everything from modern mountain retreats to refined urban residences, he guides each project with hands-on involvement, ensuring that innovative design solutions truly reflect his clients’ visions.
Over time, Kory has developed a comprehensive Architect's approach to the AEC Industry and BIM design process. He works with a focus on building science and pays meticulous attention to even the smallest detail, creating models and construction plans that are ready to be sent out to the field.
